1. Clip video segment
Choose the video you want to clip, click 
to open the following window.
Set the start & end point to get the partial segment. Click "OK" to finish or click
to start a new clip.
And Checking the "Output segments as whole one" option will merge the segments in the list into one file, then click "Move Up" or "Move Down" button to choose the sequence of the segments.
2. Append effect
Select the video then click 
, you'll see the edit window below.
(1) Crop the size of video
Check "Enable Crop", set "Crop Area Size" to adjust the height and width of the crop area.
(2) Add effect to video
Check "Enable Effect", choose an effect for the output video from the "Other Effects" drop-down list. The brightness, contrast, saturation are all adjustable.
(3) Add watermark to video
Check "Enable Watermark", and click "Add Text Watermark" or "Add Picture Watermark" to add watermark for the video, then adjust the transparence, position and font style of the watermark.
(4) Add and adjust subtitle for video
Check "Enable Subtitle", and click the "Browse" button below "Subtitle" to add a subtitle file for the video, then adjust the transparence, position and font style of the subtitle in the option to get a video with the subtitle you add.
Tip: You may click the "Comparing Preview" button 
at the right bottom of preview window to compare the ultimate effect in real time.
3. Gain video of exact file size using "Bitrate Calculator"
Select a video, under "Video quality", choose "Bitrate Calculator" or choose "Tools", "Bitrate Calculator" to open the following window. Input the file size to get exact video file, the soft will automatically compress the video quality to fit the preset file size.
4. Set the Preferences to make it work better
Click 
on top of the profile field, or select "Tools", "Preferences" to open the set window below.
Then you can set so many parameters such as setting running process amount, the action of "After Done", etc.
